Our Vision & Mission
To See Transformed Lives and Culture by Proclaiming Truth and Love
Our mission is to help people know God and receive His love so they can lead transformed lives.
We equip individuals and families to cultivate practical and spiritual growth in order to produce fruit that glorifies Jesus in the Tri-Cities and beyond.

Our History
In August of 1996, Jeff and Kathy Oakes, along with two other families, sensed the Lord Jesus direct them to start a church in the Tri-Cities that was committed to seeing the Word of God and the Presence of God manifest in the region to release salvation, healing, deliverance, and to raise up disciples. Our commission was found in Isaiah 61, the same scriptures Jesus opened for the inauguration of His ministry in Luke 4. It was in November of 1996 after many confirmations that Hosanna Fellowship began. For two and a half years we met at the Holiday Inn in Johnson City as well as in homes and dorms during the week. Later in 1999, God opened the door for us to meet in the Old Boone's Creek United Methodist Church building. It was there, that a deepening understanding of the Lord's purposes for Hosanna were realized. We truly were called to be a Healing Balm, a House of Prayer, a Training Center, and a gathering of Worshipful People. In 2003, the time to move had come. The Lord opened the present location of 715 Sunset Drive for us to purchase, settle, and continue to grow to see His Kingdom advance in our hearts and throughout East Tennessee and the World.
What We Believe
We believe the Holy Bible is the word of God. It alone is the final authority in determining all doctrinal truths.
II Timothy 3:16; II Peter 1:20-21; Proverbs 30:5; Romans 16:25-26
We believe that in the one true God there are three distinct persons. The Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. They are all of the same substance and are co-equal and co-eternal.
Genesis 1:26; Matthew 28:19; Matthew 3:16-17; Isaiah 9:6; Hebrews 3:7-11
We believe that Jesus Christ is God the Son born of Virgin Mary. He was and is the only man to ever live a sinless life.
John 1:1,14; John 20:28; I Timothy 3:16; Philippians 2:5-6; Luke 1:35
We believe that we are saved by grace through faith in Jesus Christ and His death, burial, and physical resurrection.
Ephesians 2:8-9; Galatians 2:16; Titus 3:5; Romans 10:9-10
We believe that the Blood of Jesus Christ shed on Calvary was and is sufficient to forgive man of all his sins.
I John 1:7; Revelation 1:5, Colossians 1:20; Revelation 5:9
We believe in the promise of the Father, the baptism in the Holy Spirit, sent by Jesus after His ascension to empower the Church to preach the Gospel through the whole earth.
Acts 2:17,38,39; Mark 16:17; Acts 10:38, 44-47
We believe in the operation of the gifts of the Holy Spirit.
I Corinthians 12:4-11
We believe in the physical and visible return of Jesus Christ to the earth.
Revelation 1:7; Acts 1:9-11; I Thessalonians 4:15-17
